The Grenada Citizenship by Investment (CBI) programme was one of the newly launched programs amongst its fellow Caribbean economic citizenship schemes. Grenada CBI program invites applicants with a good character record and those able to invest in the economic growth of the nation. This citizenship program offers two main investment options. These include, making a non-refundable donation to Grenada’s National Transformation Fund (NTF) or invest in a government-approved real estate, which can be sold to another buyer after 5 years.

Investment options

Invest In The National Transformation Fund

Make a non-refundable contribution of $150,000 (single applicant) or $200,000 (family of four) to the national transformation fund.

Invest in Real- Estate

Make an independent investment of $350,000 in a pre-approved property, OR a joint investment in a tourist accommodation (hotel, resort or villa) with an individual minimum of $220,000 and a total investment value of $440,000.

Process & Timeline
All Grenada citizenship applications are submitted to the nation’s Citizenship by Investment Committee (CBIC) for assessment. The entire process is handled by an Authorized International Marketing Agent, who have the necessary qualifications to coordinate with the Authorized Local Agent. The approval by the CBIC body takes between 60 and 90 days, after which the investment needs to be transferred. Applicants are not allowed to interact with the Authorized Local Agents directly.
